..And the Winner is CALEB JOHNSON!

Tonight was the big bang, the finale! And I couldn't ask for a better top two. Caleb and Jena deserved to be there. They truly earned their spot in the top. I'm extremely proud of them both.

Phillip Phillips and Sam Woolf, the first guest performer to grace the stage with a contestant tonight. Phillip performing his hit single with Sam was perfect. That song and genre was an excellent fit for Sam. Sam performing with a past Idol winner was good choice. I liked the performance a lot.

Jennifer Nettles and Jessica Meuse, I loved the 'Wrecking Ball' performance they did. I also liked Jennifer's solo. Jennifer and Jessica was another nice match up. Her voice is very similar to Jessica's. That sound couldn't have fit Jessica any more. Over all, I loved their performance it was a great look and fit for Jessica.

Jennifer Lopez will always be one of the hottest performers to date! She knows her strengths. Which is sex appeal and dance, and she did an amazing job presenting us with both tonight. I loved her attire and performance equally. It was steaming hot!

I know hands down that Caleb loved the hell out of that performance he did with KISS. That was a once in a lifetime moment there. Caleb performing with the legendary KISS was amazing. Lots of shouting, screaming, and head knocking! (Laugh out loud) I loved it!

Aloe Blacc and the Idol boys, all of their vocals were amazing. Same for Demi and the Idol girls, lots of powerhouse vocals. They all appear to be having so much fun. I enjoyed both of those performances.

Paramore and Jena Irene, that performance was so colorful and fun. And I loved the yellow balloons falling and bouncing everywhere in the crowd! (Laugh out loud)

John Legend and Malaya Watson, that was probably my favorite performance of the night. I absolutely loved the vocal in that performance, the passion in that song was amazing! Also, did you guys notice the new beautiful woman that graced the stage? Malaya was gorgeous tonight. Malaya without her glasses and braces has really brought her confidence to a different level. She has really evolved into a beautiful woman that America has come to love.

Alex Preston and  Jason Mraz was another nice pair. Their vocals together were amazing! Their style meshed very well. I don't know what Idol has done, but they're doing an amazing job pairing the contestants with these Musicians that has very similar sounds. Excellent strategy.

Ryan Seacrest and Richard Marx? (laugh out loud, that is all.)

Dexter Roberts, CJ Harris, and Darius Rucker was a good pick. How convenient for CJ that was? That was a learning experience and a lot to take in for CJ, I could tell.
Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson, and Harry Connick Jr performing all at once? Brilliant!

And the winner of American Idol Season 13 is ...CALEB JOHNSON!
As I said earlier, they both deserved to be there. I was happy either way. Caleb truly deserved it though. JLO was right, this was Caleb's year. Caleb brought it the moment he stepped onto the scene this season. Just as our previous winner, Caleb is a recurring contestant, although, this time he took the title home with him. Stories like that are always an inspiration to me. The saying is true, 'NEVER GIVE UP!', because that next attempt just may be your best attempt!
I wish Caleb the absolute best. I know his career is going to go far. I see him obtaining a phenomenal band in his route, plus much more. Good luck Caleb, make us fans proud! See you soon.

And there you have it. The finish line. I appreciate all of the support and viewers of my blogs week to week. Thank you.
See you guys next season.

P.S. My apologies for disappearing the past three weeks. I had some technical difficulties going on preventing me from posting.

The Elimination of C.J. Harris.

If you've been following my blog you know I'm not a fan of a Jessica, and you would also know how I feel about her remaining in the competition. To be BRUTALLY honest, I would like to see her in the bottom two every week until she's gone.. I'm just being honest.

The bottom two contestants of the week were C.J. Harris and Jessica Meuse.

C.J. Harris was the least voted contestant this week, resulting in his elimination. I liked C.J. as a person, although I didn't too much care for him as an Artist/Contestant. C.J. is a very warm hearted guy, he most definitely has a big heart. He is one of those guys to never wish harm on his worst enemy, and he appears to be a great Father, for those reasons he gets mad respect from me.. In spite of my feelings about him, I do believe there is a gap for him in the Country World, it's just a matter of him getting there. I wish him the best. I hope to see him having an amazing career outside of this show. Good luck C.J.

The clock is ticking, her time will come.
See you guys next week.

The Elimination of Dexer Roberts.

FINALLY! The person that's been deserving to be in the bottom has managed to get there this week.

The bottom two contained Dexter Roberts and Jessica Meuse.

Dexter Roberts resulted in being the least voted conestant of the week. Dexter was an okay contestant. I could tell that he was a very nice/humble guy. Out of all of the foul play this season, I can honestly say that I believe he earned/deserved the spot he was in. I can see him having a career in the Country world, a nice one. There's a spot for him there, you guys just watch and see. I wish him nothing but the best.

I've kept quiet about this specific contestant long enough, it's time to unleash my deepest opinion! Jessica Meuse has slipped through the cracks of the competition once again, and I am honestly not happy about that at all!! She should have been eliminated WEEKS AGO! She should have never even made it into the Top 13 in my opinion! Jessica sucks! She lacks stage presence, and her voice is so dry and annoying! UGHHH! I have no idea how her presence on the show remains to continue. I'll give her a little bit of credit, because she has had a few good performances, but they were no comparison to many of the other contestants that's been eliminated. Her elimination is well overdue! I hope she doesn't win this competition, because that would be very tragic.

*sigh* See you guys next week.

The Elimination of Malaya Watson..

This week there was no guest performance, with that being said, the show kind of drug on to the elimination. Every contestant that should have been in the least voted were called to join the next week. All I could do was shake my head in disgust.

The bottom 2 contestants resulted into C.J. Harris and Malaya Watson.

Malaya Watson was the leas voted contestant of the night, and since there isn't another save, she had no other choice but to go home. I really am so disappointed with that elimination. I hate seeing amazing talent leave these talent competitions before the weaker talents. Malaya should have went to the top of the competition. Hands down. I love her, her spirit, and that amazing voice of hers. I really hope she goes far in life, not just with success. Malaya is 16 years of age, she has plenty of growing time. I hope this doesn't break her spirit.. I wish Malaya nothing but the best. Good luck Malaya.

I knew something like this would happen after the save was used. I felt it.

See you guys next week.

The Elimination of...

The guest performer of the night was the magnificent Rock Band Daughtry. One of our Idol alumnus from Season 5, Chris Daughtry. I always love his/their performances, he always performs like it's his last performance. I really admire that.. Random question, don't you guys find it funny that sometimes runner ups have better careers than the actual winners? Just thought I'd throw that out there.

The bottom three contestants of the night are Malaya Watson, Sam Woolf, and C.J. Harris.
For some odd reason, the bottom three lacks a specific contestant every time, and I have no clue why. I somewhat disagree with this bottom three again. 2 out of 3 contestants shouldn't have been there, meanwhile a weak link walks to the next week consistently. *sigh*

Sam Woolf resulted in being the least voted contestant tonight, but he mananaged to get the only judges save. In my opinion, he shouldn't have been in the bottome three, but since MK nor Majesty was saved, he shouldn't have been either! Yes, I'm still bitter about those eliminations. They were a better talent than him, the only thing saving him is that cute face of his that the judges love so much... Whatever! It is what it is.

Next week shall be interesting, I'm sure two contestants will be eliminated, and one of them just may be a favorite. Watch out.

See you then.

The Elimination of Majesty Rose.

By tonight’s episode being only thirty minutes, Ryan cut straight to the chase sending contestants to safety right away. Some of the strongest contestants were sent to safety, when others were in the bottom three.

Janelle Monae was the guest performer. I liked her strange performance. I was looking for another guest performer, but since the episode was only thirty minutes, there wasn’t one.
The bottom three contestants of the night were Majesty Rose, Sam Woolf, and C.J. Harris.

Yet again one of the weakest remaining links has made it to the next week. And the one of the stronger ones went home. Majesty Rose, one of my favorites, she was the least voted contestant of the week. She also didn’t get the judges save, although Keith claimed she was close to getting it; when they only have three more weeks to use it. I really liked her different style and genre (whatever that may be). I wish her the best, and I hope to see her soon again. Good luck Majesty.

Sorry this blog was so late you guys, but I’ll see you guys next week.

The Elimination of MK Nobilette.

This week I wanted to see if this specific contestant go into the bottom three, but instead they walked to safety again. I am not pleased about it because that means possibly one of my favorites is to be in the least voted contestants. I am disappointed but not surprised.

Tonight I loved seeing Jennifer perform her new single ‘I Luv Ya Papi’ with French Montana. I loved that sexy/colorful performance. When the performance first started I couldn’t quite put my finger on the three female singers she was singing with, but I definitely recognized them. Little did I expect it was Idol alumnae’s, it was Pia Toscano, Jessica Sanchez, and Allison Iraheta. Their harmony along with JLO’s was a killer. I loved it. It was nice to see them and their different appearances, starting with Jessica’s blonde hair. As for the other guest performer Royal Teeth performing their single ‘Wild’, it was okay. Their performance was not that entertaining or interesting.. Harsh but true.

The bottom three contestants of the night are Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose, and MK Nobilette.

I wasn’t pleased with tonight’s bottom three at all. All three contestants should have been safe in my opinion, but someone had to go. And unfortunately, it breaks my heart to say it was MK Nobilette to be sent home. MK sung us ‘All of Me’ once again, I think she sung it twice as better this time than the original time, this time bringing JLO to tears. She sung it so lovely with a pure emotion that the audience could do nothing but chant ‘Save MK’ to the judges after she was done singing. I loved MK, and in my opinion she really deserved that save, but apparently the judges didn’t think so. The judge’s decision had to be anonymous in order to save 1 contestant. I have a gut feeling that there was one in particular judge that opposed to the other two (cough cough Harry), which caused MK to officially be the contestant to go home this week... Her voice, her spirit, and her presence have helped change American Idol. For that reason, I can only tip my hat off to her for that. Thanks for being the first openly gay contestant MK. I really wish MK the best, I know we’ll be seeing you again in the future, good luck. ; )

Next week it is folks, see you then.

The Elimination of Ben Briley.

I was kind of anxious to see tonight’s performers, because we all get to FINALLY see Harry ‘Mr. I-Know-Everything-About-Music’ perform his unknown music. Since Harry seems to criticize every small thing about the contestant’s performances, I couldn’t wait to see what he can do. Harry sucks as an Artist. (Laugh out loud.) He can’t sing in my opinion, the best he can do is play the piano. His singing voice is so dry and low. Where did Idol dig him up from? SERIOUSLY?

The second guest performer of the night was an Artist by the name of Mali Music; he performed his single ‘Beautiful’. I enjoyed it, although I’ve never heard of this Artist, which gives me more reason to do research on him. Apparently he’s a Singer, Songwriter, and Producer. He’s been pursing music strongly since 2002, when he released his first album. He has an upcoming album to be released in May, and you also can follow him on twitter @MaliMusic.

The bottom three contestants of the night are Ben Briley, Majesty Rose, and Sam Woolf.

Tonight the bottom three was bittersweet. It was some good and bad in there, which lacked in the past couple of weeks. This week I feel like America slightly got it right. I would have liked to see someone who didn’t go into the bottom three go home, but since they didn’t, the next weakest contestant was up. Ben Briley was the least voted contestant this week, nor did he get the judges save. Ben was an okay contestant, although I honestly feel like he should have been left in the stage before the Top 13. There was nothing spectacular about him. In spite of that, I wish him nothing but the best though, I wish him success with his career and so on. Good luck Ben.

See you guys next week.

The Elimination of Emily Piriz.

This week was seriously not that entertaining. I agree 100% with what Jennifer said last night. For whatever reason, this year’s contestants seem to not be giving their performances their all. In the past seasons, most of the contestants left their hearts on the stage, singing as if it was their last. I loved that. What actually happened to that? That’s a question that only the current contestants could answer.

Phillip Phillips, American Idol winner of season eleven was one of the guest performers tonight. His performance was pretty good. The performance was very live and entertaining. I don’t follow his career, but I am assuming it is doing great considering he’s currently working on a second album; he just performed his new single, and the fact that I often hear his ‘Home’ single on TV. Good sign. Keep it up Phillip.

The bottom three contestants of the night are Emily Piriz, Jena Irene, and MK Nobilette.

I am in disbelief with the bottom three yet again. This bottom three sucks just as bad as last week’s! Emily Piriz was the least voted contestant, and she also didn’t get the judges save. Yet another amazing talent voted off too early. Emily deserved to stay way longer, if not had won the whole thing. Emily’s voice and performances were nothing beneath great. I wish her the best, I hope she goes far. She deserves it. Good luck Emily.

Next week it is you guys. See you then.

The Elimination of Kristen O'Connor...

I’m starting this season’s blog off by saying that I am not satisfied with the top 13. The judges didn’t make the best choices with the Wildcards, nor did America get it completely right, especially with this season’s top male contestants. I also want to talk about Mr. Harry Connick Jr., I DO NOT care for him and his senseless choice of words. Most of you guys ridiculed my girl Nicki Minaj on the judging panel last season, when she didn’t deserve it in my opinion. On the other hand, Harry somewhat gets praised for CONSISTENTLY talking down on the contestants. I just don’t get it. Who is Harry anyway? I’ve never heard of him until now.

The guest performer of the night was the magnificent Candice Glover, American Idol’s season 12 winner. She couldn’t have looked or sung any better. Candice’s voice is just so amazing. I LOVE her vocals. I loved them last season and the love still remains. I actually meant to purchase her album earlier today, it kind of slipped my mind. I’ve heard tons of good reviews about her album, so I must hear it for myself. Obtaining that album will be the first thing I get to tomorrow. I must support my girl at any cost. I want to see her career get so much bigger..

The first bottom 3 of the season contains Malaya Watson, MK Nobilette, and Kristen O’Connor.

MK and Malaya returned to safety, resulting Kristen O’Connor being the least voted contestant. I really liked her, and I liked her voice, but apparently the remaining of America didn’t. As she sung for the save I just knew the judges wouldn’t use it on her, as they didn’t. It’s way too soon to use the save, and she hasn’t done enough for them to feel they should use it on her over the others. I wish Kristen the best. She can really sing, and she has the innocent glow about her that I think could take her far. Good luck Kristen.

Hopefully this was a lesson to the others.

See you guys next week.
