The Elimination of Majesty Rose.

By tonight’s episode being only thirty minutes, Ryan cut straight to the chase sending contestants to safety right away. Some of the strongest contestants were sent to safety, when others were in the bottom three.

Janelle Monae was the guest performer. I liked her strange performance. I was looking for another guest performer, but since the episode was only thirty minutes, there wasn’t one.
The bottom three contestants of the night were Majesty Rose, Sam Woolf, and C.J. Harris.

Yet again one of the weakest remaining links has made it to the next week. And the one of the stronger ones went home. Majesty Rose, one of my favorites, she was the least voted contestant of the week. She also didn’t get the judges save, although Keith claimed she was close to getting it; when they only have three more weeks to use it. I really liked her different style and genre (whatever that may be). I wish her the best, and I hope to see her soon again. Good luck Majesty.

Sorry this blog was so late you guys, but I’ll see you guys next week.

The Elimination of MK Nobilette.

This week I wanted to see if this specific contestant go into the bottom three, but instead they walked to safety again. I am not pleased about it because that means possibly one of my favorites is to be in the least voted contestants. I am disappointed but not surprised.

Tonight I loved seeing Jennifer perform her new single ‘I Luv Ya Papi’ with French Montana. I loved that sexy/colorful performance. When the performance first started I couldn’t quite put my finger on the three female singers she was singing with, but I definitely recognized them. Little did I expect it was Idol alumnae’s, it was Pia Toscano, Jessica Sanchez, and Allison Iraheta. Their harmony along with JLO’s was a killer. I loved it. It was nice to see them and their different appearances, starting with Jessica’s blonde hair. As for the other guest performer Royal Teeth performing their single ‘Wild’, it was okay. Their performance was not that entertaining or interesting.. Harsh but true.

The bottom three contestants of the night are Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose, and MK Nobilette.

I wasn’t pleased with tonight’s bottom three at all. All three contestants should have been safe in my opinion, but someone had to go. And unfortunately, it breaks my heart to say it was MK Nobilette to be sent home. MK sung us ‘All of Me’ once again, I think she sung it twice as better this time than the original time, this time bringing JLO to tears. She sung it so lovely with a pure emotion that the audience could do nothing but chant ‘Save MK’ to the judges after she was done singing. I loved MK, and in my opinion she really deserved that save, but apparently the judges didn’t think so. The judge’s decision had to be anonymous in order to save 1 contestant. I have a gut feeling that there was one in particular judge that opposed to the other two (cough cough Harry), which caused MK to officially be the contestant to go home this week... Her voice, her spirit, and her presence have helped change American Idol. For that reason, I can only tip my hat off to her for that. Thanks for being the first openly gay contestant MK. I really wish MK the best, I know we’ll be seeing you again in the future, good luck. ; )

Next week it is folks, see you then.

The Elimination of Ben Briley.

I was kind of anxious to see tonight’s performers, because we all get to FINALLY see Harry ‘Mr. I-Know-Everything-About-Music’ perform his unknown music. Since Harry seems to criticize every small thing about the contestant’s performances, I couldn’t wait to see what he can do. Harry sucks as an Artist. (Laugh out loud.) He can’t sing in my opinion, the best he can do is play the piano. His singing voice is so dry and low. Where did Idol dig him up from? SERIOUSLY?

The second guest performer of the night was an Artist by the name of Mali Music; he performed his single ‘Beautiful’. I enjoyed it, although I’ve never heard of this Artist, which gives me more reason to do research on him. Apparently he’s a Singer, Songwriter, and Producer. He’s been pursing music strongly since 2002, when he released his first album. He has an upcoming album to be released in May, and you also can follow him on twitter @MaliMusic.

The bottom three contestants of the night are Ben Briley, Majesty Rose, and Sam Woolf.

Tonight the bottom three was bittersweet. It was some good and bad in there, which lacked in the past couple of weeks. This week I feel like America slightly got it right. I would have liked to see someone who didn’t go into the bottom three go home, but since they didn’t, the next weakest contestant was up. Ben Briley was the least voted contestant this week, nor did he get the judges save. Ben was an okay contestant, although I honestly feel like he should have been left in the stage before the Top 13. There was nothing spectacular about him. In spite of that, I wish him nothing but the best though, I wish him success with his career and so on. Good luck Ben.

See you guys next week.

The Elimination of Emily Piriz.

This week was seriously not that entertaining. I agree 100% with what Jennifer said last night. For whatever reason, this year’s contestants seem to not be giving their performances their all. In the past seasons, most of the contestants left their hearts on the stage, singing as if it was their last. I loved that. What actually happened to that? That’s a question that only the current contestants could answer.

Phillip Phillips, American Idol winner of season eleven was one of the guest performers tonight. His performance was pretty good. The performance was very live and entertaining. I don’t follow his career, but I am assuming it is doing great considering he’s currently working on a second album; he just performed his new single, and the fact that I often hear his ‘Home’ single on TV. Good sign. Keep it up Phillip.

The bottom three contestants of the night are Emily Piriz, Jena Irene, and MK Nobilette.

I am in disbelief with the bottom three yet again. This bottom three sucks just as bad as last week’s! Emily Piriz was the least voted contestant, and she also didn’t get the judges save. Yet another amazing talent voted off too early. Emily deserved to stay way longer, if not had won the whole thing. Emily’s voice and performances were nothing beneath great. I wish her the best, I hope she goes far. She deserves it. Good luck Emily.

Next week it is you guys. See you then.
